Disabled Access

Glyn Ebwy Surgery is fully equipped for disabled patients. Restricted access is available for patients at Waunlwyd Surgery, but staff are always willing to assist patients who find access difficult.

Requests for Home Visits (During Normal Surgery Hours)

Home visits will be offered if a patient is bed ridden or housebound. Please make every effort to attend surgery whenever possible as it is far easier for doctor to examine you, if necessary, in a surgery setting.

Confidentiality

We ask for information about you so that you can receive the best possible care and treatment. Together with details of your care, this is kept to ensure that your doctor or nurse has accurate and up-to-date information. Your medical history will be recorded on our practice computer system which may only be accessed by authorised staff members. We provide a confidential service to all our patients and your personal health information will not be disclosed to a third party without your prior consent in writing.

Sometimes, we have to pass on information about you to other people, such as hospitals, Social Services, or the Local Health Board. This is always done confidentially, or by removing your identifying details.  If you have any worries about confidentiality or how we use your information please speak to our Practice Manager.

The practice operates in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
